Lipari, the largest of the Aeolian Islands, is rich in charm and history. Its main streets are the Corso Vittorio Emanuele, where there are many shops, the Via Garibaldi and Via Francesco Crispi, known as Marina Lunga, which is the waterfront of the central area of Lipari and connecting road with the fraction of Canneto.
Piazza Sant'Ugo Onofrio, known as Marina Corta, is the main square of Lipari and is much frequented by tourists and the islanders thanks to the presence of several bars, restaurants and souvenir shops.
Lipari Castle is situated on a promontory easily accessible and inside is located the the Aeolian Museum, one of the most important in the Mediterranean.
